Merino

Merino wool is a natural fiber grown by Merino sheep. It’s thinner and softer than regular wool, making it perfect for next to skin projects. The main factor determining the quality of merino wool is its softness which depends upon the fineness of the Fibres. Our bases use extra fine merino (19.5 microns), some of the finest available today, plus a touch of nylon to add durability. This results in a super soft yarn that feels gentle against the skin.
